Boat Trip on the Canals of Amsterdam
2006. A life-changing year for me. It was the first time I left my country and traveled abroad. Little did I know that I would love it so much, and have such an unspeakable thirst for travel. We were in a basketball tournament (yes, even with my midget-height I tried to play), not far from Amsterdam, so we visited the city for a few hours. Because of the little time we had on our hands, our coach decided we should take a boat trip, to see a big part of the city at a fast pace. My memories are very vague and very little, but I’m planning to return to Amsterdam next Spring, so I hope I can visit all the things I missed out on when I was there in 2006. Meanwhile, here are some photos of the boat ride (excuse the extra heads and pieces of hair that sometimes appear in the corners of the photographs):
Help me out here! What do you suggest I should visit in Amsterdam next Spring?
