Best Travel Moments of 2013: Nr.2
Most of you probably know that we graduated the University this year. Two days after our big and final exam that marked the end of it all, Arpi and I jumped into the car and drove as far away from Cluj as possible. Well, not that far because our student budget proved to be tight, but we did the best we could with it! After a few hours of getting lost but seeing the amazing and isolated countryside of Alba county, we drove down to Alba Iulia, checked out the city, spent the night and the next day aimed to climb through Ramet Gorge. We just needed a day in the great outdoors, to hear the birds and the water flowing through the cliffs, to smell the fresh air and feel the sun on our much-pale skin, which hasn’t seen proper light in our heavy weeks of studying. It was the second-best adventure of this year because it meant freedom, adrenaline, love and happiness after long hours of being stuck in the house, doing nothing but filling our heads which so much information! We had an amazing time, hanging on to cliffs, walking through water and then drying ourselves in front of a hundred-year old hay-lidded house!
We had a wonderful time indeed !
