Agape Resort – more than just a simple lodging
If you ever decide to visit my hometown, Targu-Mures, and decide to stay overnight, look no further! If you’re looking for something more than just a bed and a roof above your head, want to interact with friendly locals and have a whole lake to yourself, I have just the place for you:
Agape Resort lies just outside the city, in a beautiful green valley in the small town of Corunca. For now, you can only rent two rooms (a single and a double), but the owners are  hoping to transform another two rooms into guestrooms later this year. For more information on the rooms, visit the official website.
I only want to emphasize why this place is so much more than a simple accommodation:
- it is located approx. 5 kilometers from Targu-Mures center, in a peaceful, green area
- the owners are super-friendly and always greet their guests with a huge smile on their faces
- there is a special barbecue corner in the garden if you want to prepare something delicious for yourself
- a night’s accommodation is pretty cheap  check out the prices on Airbnb
- if you’re a sports fan you’ll definitely enjoy the foot-volley field:
- there is also a private lake in the garden area, the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day – free for all guests!
- in the winter, you can also enjoy ice-skating on the lake, while drinking a hot cup of mulled wine:
- and if you’re still bored, you can go on a horse-drawn carriage ride, which was handmade by the owner himself!
Agape Resort is the ideal place from where you can visit some of Transylvania’s most important attractions, such as Sighisoara, the Must-See Fortidied Saxon Churches near Sighisoara, Turda Gorge and Turda Salt Mine, Corund and Praid.

Note: this is not a sponsored post, I only help with the administration of the accommodation, and I do believe that this place has something extra compared to other lodgings of the area.Â
So if you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to stop by! 🙂

I’ve only been to Targu-Mures once, in passing, while looking for a car service, haha. I need to go back and see it properly, I remember thinking it looks very pretty 😀
You should come! 😉 I think you’d like it
