Bucin Top, Harghita Mountains Photo Diary
So this winter wasn’t too much fun because of the lack of snow we’re experiencing in my hometown. Therefore last Thursday we packed our bags and headed to the closest mountain that had a bit of snow on it – the Harghita Mountains and Bucin Top. As we were approaching it, we expected to see stunning snowfall and fairytale-like houses covered in white (this is how it usually looks during the winter). Instead, we found rainfall, mud and a less than pretty landscape almost throughout. We only witnessed a bit of snow when we got to the peak, and even there it was much less than we were ever used to seeing during the wintertime.. Nevertheless, we managed to make the most of the tiny amount of snow there was, and actually had a blast. I especially enjoyed my new camera and the snowy landscape in front of me, as you can see in the photo diary below.
But we couldn’t help but wonder: would there be any snow here next year?
